Anyway, thank you for this fantastic point and even though I do not concur with it in totality, I value your viewpoint. Why don't you throw some music in... maybe different music for each difficulty level - like the Dance of the Cows for easy level and techno a la Monty Python and the Holy Grail for the hardest level. Or you could use public domain stuff by Josquin de Pres or from the Musica Enquiriadis. Ode Hecaton anybody? And it needs more sex and violence. Try an animation that blows up the sudoku when you get it wrong, taking a few people with it, leaving another few bloodied and another few orphaned. Hey it works for Rockstar Games! Sudoku rocks!
