So I know you are all saying to yourself now, “I knew this would happen, great things never stay free.” But, it’s my hope and intention that the Sudoku Widget will always stay free. Unfortunately, I also want want to be able to give everyone the best possible widget and Sudoku game possible and we’ve had such a great response for this widget - we’ve been in the top five of apple’s downloads for a couple weeks now! So…rather than charge for the widget, I feel it’s better to just ask for donations. The more money we collect the less time I can spend on developing websites and the more time I can spend working on the game and hopefully some other interesting widgets that I have ideas for.
I know some people aren’t big fans of paypal, but I feel it’s the easiest solution. If you are really oppossed to it and want to make a contribution just let me know and we’ll work something else out. Any amount is accepted and genuinely appreciated. I love your Sudoku Widget but it could be enhanced
I would like:
• Numbers allready found and filled in all boxes to appear on a checklist (i.e no8 is done, dont bother any more)
• Possibiitly to save specific puzzles and re-use them for contests and such later.
• Possibility to move back and forth among solved and unsolved puzzles
• Possibility to ad comments to solved puzzles (maybe online?)

I updated my mac to 10.6.8 today and now Sudoku will no longer work. All I get is empty boxes. I will be happy to pay for a new version or some tech support as my wife loves your version of the game. Thanks

I have the same problem as jmbecker97. Have been enjoying this game for a while, and since upgrading to 10.6.8 I just get empty boxes. It’s a shame, since this is in my opinion very clearly the best Sudoku widget available.
I just installed Lion on my MacBook Pro. Sudoku 1.5 will not initiate a new game, no matter I do. What is the problem. I am presented with a blank format and unable to play. What do I need to do to start up a game?

The sudoku widgit on my dashboard went ‘blank’. I reinstalled it by following the instruction on your blog (and restarted the computer). It’s still blank. What can I do?
Can anything be done to restore the Suduko widgit? I am having the same issue on my 10.5.8 Mac. Tried getting info on the Apple sight, since my computer cam loaded with this, and there is nothing. I also deleted and re uploaded to no avail.
