Sudoku Widget 1.2 is now available!

Posted on Thursday 8 September 2005

Version 1.2 addresses the problems experienced with version 1.1. Namely, the multiple solutions problem has been solved and the lower left corner is now clickable. Download it here. Let me know if you have any comments, questions, bugs, whatever. Thanks and enjoy!

I love your widget, BUT, I have two 4’s in one column. That can’t be right, can it? I have incorrect answers highlighted, but neither 4 is highlighted, in fact, now that I look, I realize that they were part of the original puzzle that was generated.
I was going to send you a picture from the desktop, but I don’t see how to attach a picture to this comment.
Thanks for any help on this.

I’d love to download and try your widget but the link seems to be broken.

David, are you using version 1.2? I know 1.1 had this problem, but I believe this should be fixed now. If possible send a screen shot to me at projects@bdeboer.com. Thanks!

If you are having problems, please try to be specific. What level were you on? What kind of computer do you have? How often does it happen? Can you recreate it?I’m not seeing this error, but it’s entirely possible. It’d be great if you could send me a screenshot (of both the front and back of the widget - email me at projects@bdeboer.com). You can take screenshots by hitting Command-Shift-4 and then highlighting the area of the widget. Thanks,

    Brian
